THE PHOTO:
I rarely post personal-type photos, but this one was done with consent (and modesty was maintained if you were wondering).
We're due on the 26th (Australia Day), but we'll see if 'she' is like her mother and wants to sleep in, or like me and get out and get started...
I hope this isn't the start of a trend of baby-type photos, but I can imagine that it won't be the last.
POST PROCESSING:
This was shot in really low light without any key-lighting (as I had planned), so it's not tack-sharp, but I kind of like that. It was cropped tight, vignette, black & white filter, and duplicated with a soft-light blend with Gaussian blue (a technique I got from Chromasia way back in 2003)
