THE PHOTO:
This, and the following three shots, were taken on the same day, in an unassuming part of my driveway. This particular flower is so small that it was by pure mistake that I actually saw it even though I drive past it's bush every day.
I like the fact that on first glance it looks out of focus, until you see the stamen in focus, but appearing to float above the petals and perianth (you gotta love wikipedia).
POST PROCESSING:
Like the rest of these shots taken on this occasion I tried to keep post processing as minimal as possible. This only has crop, levels, curves, vignette and unsharp mask followed by noise reduction (to remove noise introduced by the unsharp process).
