'Lake Placid' detail

THE PHOTO:
As a special treat, rather than regurgitating all my old archives of images, this one was only taken last week on the shores of Lake Taupo looking across to Western Bays. My first attempt at post processing in RAW format in Nikon Capture.

[EDIT] Here's the original - I'd be interested in comment on the post-processing.

OTHER:
Yes, everything is now in black or "non-brown". Blame Tam.

    Oh, so its my ‘fault’ the only non-gay non-brown colour in your repertoire is black? Pfft! Pfft I say!

    I’m not sure to compliment you on your photo skills, on your NC skills, or to just be envious that you live in that part of the world and shots like that are available most days.

    Thanks Dave, however this is more of a 1-in-30 type of day – which is still pretty good. And thanks also Eric, yes there is a 4px drop from left to right which, considering the bay extends away to the right makes it a little lopsided.
