THE PHOTO:
Second in this series, this one shot on the shores of Lake Taupo with the mountains in the background. As you can see the weather couldn’t have been better.
Dave asked about lighting in the previous shot, here’s a candid showing our ‘assistant’ Naomi holding a 5-in-1 reflector/blocker with the gold side bouncing the sun’s light to create fill-light on Aidan’s face. This was used to fill-light the shadowy sides of the shots.
PROCESSING:
Sharpening (in Picasa – more on this later), cloning of dead grass patches, levels, curves.
OUT-TAKES:
I could quite easily post all of these images as I am so happy with how they turned out, but I think it better to have them included as part of this shot.
