Dead Wall

Dead Wall

THE PHOTO:
Dying ivy leaves on my chimney wall. The ivy was growing quite well several weeks before, but we decided that it was damaging the 100-year-old chimney and the wall and roof that it creeped over so cut it at the base.

POST-PROCESSING:
I tried a number of treatments to get a cool sense in the image while maintaining some recognisable color. LightRoom built-in filters were used to provide the vignette, levels and color filters, some sharpening and a bunch of minor tweaks in PhotoShop.
