Half a girl at the M.C.G.

Half a girl at the M.C.G.

THE PHOTO:
Panorama shot taken at my first visit to the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground. I lasted one innings through watching New Zealand playing Australia in the 2nd game of the one day series. Unfortunately the game just didn’t do it for me – the rowdy, loutish crowd who seemed intent on playing musical chairs really was a distraction. I am looking forward to attending during the Australian Rules footy season.

POST-PROCESSING:
6 shot merge in Photoshop CS3. Potatoshop kindly slimmed the girl in the center of the frame for some reason, but rather than try to rectifying it I left as is. Shadow/Highlight brought out stadium details, with some levels and USM.

    EXIF:

  • Taken: 6 February, 2009
