High Beam

High Beam

THE PHOTO:
The first of a few snaps I managed to get to my work-trip to Hong Kong in October this year. This is the view to the new International Commerce Center tower in Kowloon across the Hong Kong Harbour (from my hotel room – shot through thick double-glazed glass), casting a late-afternoon reflected glare.

POST-PROCESSING:
There was a lot of polarization due to shooting through the double-glazing so that was removed (shadow/highlight fixed that), sharpen, tint, crop, levels/curves.

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/4.2
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Taken: 18 October, 2011
  • Exposure bias: -4/6EV
  • Focal length: 35mm
  • ISO: 160
  • Shutter speed: 1/160s
