Inner Chamber

THE PHOTO:
I took advantage of the rare public opening of the Parliament Building of Victoria in Melbourne on Sunday. This shot is the upper end of the Legislative Council Chamber – one of the more opulent rooms of the building, as described in the guide, “displays Roman Corinthian style architecture and many other ornate features. These include the Royal Lion, Crown and Unicorn that sit on top of the Canopy behind the President’s Chair.“.

POST-PROCESSING:
3-exposure HDR composite tone-mapped in Photomatix, rotated, crop, levels, curves, color-balance and USM in Photoshop.

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: NIKON D2X
  • Focal length: 12mm
  • ISO: 100
