THE PHOTO:
Probably my favourite photo from Queenstown, this is the view from the western ridge that overlooks Lake Wakatipu, down across to the river delta next to Glenorchy and Kinloch. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to take a scenic Helicopter ride from Queenstown to Milford Sound, and this was one of the scenic stops along the way.
