Taken on the lakefront of Lake Taupo last week. I was going to post this image later to seperate it from the ‘treated’ photo of yesterday, but because I have just got back from taking a 4-day-no-internet break at the beach I wanted to get the old images out of the way before I post the best of the 300+ I took during that break.
Yes, this means you will be tormented with a multitude of mike-at-the-beach shots. Yes, it also means that the last 4-5 days were on auto-pilot (thanks to those who commented).
Obviously, this shot has been slightly altered. For reference, here’s the original (resized and resampled for web). I had to increase the contrast, lens distortion, crop, channel mix in monochrome, velvia vision filter, selective color increase in shadow (blue) and because it was done over a week ago I forgot the rest of the minor tweaks…
