Brown Butterfly

Brown Butterfly

THE PHOTO:
3rd in the macro series. This tiny little butterfly didn’t really co-operate as far as pointing his head towards the lens. If I could have taken this shot again then I would have used a narrower aperture – say f9 – to get more of the body in focus. Of all the macro series, this was the only one that was conducive to a monochrome output – in this case my favourite chocolate duo-tone.

THE LENS:
Sigma 150mm f/2.8 EX APO Macro EX DG HSM

POST-PROCESSING:
Crop, Flip Horizontal, Sharpen, Noise Reduction, Levels and Curves, Mono-tint.
