Ocean Teeth

THE PHOTO:
No new material, so this is from several weeks ago when we were returning from a camping trip along the southern coast of Victoria. Just before the famous “Twelve Apostles” was another ocean look-out to some rocky outcrops.

POST-PROCESSING:
The original image was more in line with the previous shot from this location – Coastal – sunny and colourful. For this image, I wanted to try a bit of a ‘winter treatment’ to better fit with the current climate at the time of posting.

Here’s the original image for comparison:

Ocean Teeth - orig - cropped

Original Version – Ocean Teeth

This shows the original after a crop. The rest of the treatment was mainly DFx filters (cross-processing, vignetting), some dodge/burn to even out the highlights and shadows and a sharpen.

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: NIKON D700
