Tui #2

Tui #2

A second attempt (after my more lack-lustre first), of shooting one of the better-looking birds in New Zealand. I had to use my cheap and nasty Cosina 70-210m at 210mm for this, even though the bird pretty much let me come as close as I wanted. Even then this shot is cropped 50%. I look forward to my 50-500mm – oh yes…

Cropped, Sharpened, Velvia Vision, Selective sharpening to the eye, Noise Reduction, more sharpening and an ND Grad overlay. (Image updated 27 Dec 2007 – Resize and crop, added Vignette)
