Last shot from last weekend’s medieval display – this poor sod (wearing the mask and armour) took a beating from kid after kid while parrying and dodging. It was a warm day and to be on your feet wearing your body-weight in metal was an impressive feat. Almost as impressive as the determination of this youngster who took him on with full fury.

More than I would have liked, but there was a lot of distracting background, and I wanted a battle-grittiness added. So, after B&W, levels, curves, vignette, layer blending, dodge/burn etc I got as close as I could.
